As God’s church, we believe in loving one another and helping each other in our daily walk with God as well as our struggles just as Jesus commanded. God’s church should be a place where you can go and experience a personal relationship with Him without judgment.

Matthew 22: 36-40

We believe God is Creator and Ruler of the Universe. He exists or is manifested within three personalities known as The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. The three of these are of equal stature and are known as the Trinity which means “Three in one.”

Genesis 1:1; Genesis 1: 26-27; Matthew 28:19

the Bible

The Bible is the infallible, authoritative word of God that was and still is intended for all people. The Holy Spirit is the one who guided the human authors that wrote it. Everything that lies within the Word of God was divinely inspired. It is the only source of truth from which Christian beliefs and Christian living can come from.

2 Timothy 1:13; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1: 20-21; Psalm 12:6

Jesus is the Son of God who was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life. He is the first and last person to walk this earth without ever sinning. He is co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. He came to earth to free us from the bondage of sin by substituting His perfect life for our sinful ways so that we would have the opportunity to live with Him eternally. He died on the cross, was buried and then arose from the dead three days later demonstrating that He conquered the grave. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return one day to bring His children home.

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is equal to that of the Son of God (Jesus) and the Father (God). He is present in the world convicting us of our sin and here to make us aware of our need for Jesus. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation if the individual continuously chooses to embody the lifestyle that Christ commands us to live. The Holy Spirit is important in the lives of all Christians as He guides us as to what is right and wrong, gives us the power for living and helps us to understand spiritual truth. Christians are to seek out the Holy Spirit and to commune daily with Him.

2 Corinthians 3:17; Galatians 5:25; John 14: 16-17; Ephesians 1: 13; Acts 1:8

We believe that Baptism is a public profession of faith in which believers are baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Baptism by being immersed serves as a picture of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. We do not believe Baptism is a requirement for salvation, but we do believe it is important to partake in as a Christian.

Matthew 3: 13-17; 1 Corinthians 11: 23-29; Romans 6: 3-5; John 3:23

Salvation is a gift from God that we are offered because of the sacrifice Jesus made in giving his life on the cross for our sins. Making up for our sin by doing good works or self-improving isn’t possible. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can we be saved from the penalty of sin.

To know Jesus & to make Jesus known (Matthew 18:19-20)

We desire and seek to bring all to Jesus, teaching them to learn His ways, so they can experience a love that is not of this world, which will in turn lead them to shine their light for Christ.
